Following last year’s well-attended event, online music discovery platform Ndfy.me teams up once again with indie production outfit Doc Def Productions and Filipino music site Vandals On The Wall for a night of mosh-worthy live music, good grub and booze, festival ambiance and fun activities. It’s a lot better the second time around as Fete de la Musique – Indie Stage enlisted some of the country’s finest and most underrated local music finds to perform on June 20, Saturday at 12 Monkeys Pub and Grill. The lineup is a goldmine of diversity: there’s the more introspective side of indie (The Raes, Fools and Foes, BP Valenzuela, Farewell Fair Weather, Austin) and the more adventurous cluster on the other end (Cinema Explosion, The Strangeness, Brisom, Oh Flamingo, Flying Ipis, Tom’s Story, The Purplechickens, and We Are Imaginary). #FeteIndie2015 also opens its doors to obscure hip-hop acts that gained strong online traction for the past 2 years (Ninno, Curtismith), boundary-pushing modern rock acts with crossover potential (Lions and Acrobats, Pitik), and world music troubadours with impressive skillsets (Dayaw). Doors open at 2pm, and show starts at 3pm. RSVP at http://j.mp/feteindie2015 to receive updates and news about the upcoming post-summer shindig. #FeteIndie2015 is supported by gracious brand sponsors Bratpack, Satchmi, and SMART Bro, and media partners Jam 88.3’s #FreshFilter, FHM Philippines, Status Magazine, Bandwagon Philippines, When In Manila, Radio Republic, Pinoytuner, DIG Radio, Amplify.ph, Splintr.com. #FeteIndie2015 is part of Fete de la Musique—an annual music showcase that’s been celebrated in 120 countries all over the world. Here in the Philippines, it will be held simultaneously in several main and pocket stages across Makati City and Intramuros.
